Quantum Computers And Really Big Ipads

#Quantumcomputing is the Holy Grail for computer scientists because it promises to make computers exponentially more powerful.  So imagine the intrigue within the scientific community following news of a ‘watershed’  quantum computing announcement coming from #Google on Dec. 8.  Let’s hope it’s not just a remake of the 1980′s TV show ‘Quantum Leap’…   The New York Times did a fascinating piece on Stonehenge (above), unmasking numerous mysteries and opening discussion on others. Theories that the rock piles were an early smartwatch for giant Druids were debunked …   A farmer spent two decades and millions building the perfect genetically modified apple. His latest iteration, the Arctic, won’t brown regardless how long its flesh is exposed and doesn’t even bruise.  Now he just needs to find someone brave enough to eat it …   #Apple Chief Tim Cook began his #iPad Pro publicity tour by calling the #Microsoft Surface Book laptop/tablet hybrid ‘diluted’ because he feels it is neither a good laptop nor tablet.  That’s a lot of bravado for a man armed with an iPad the size of a TV tray and a cloth keyboard.
