@DellMedicalSchool has sprouted from a vacant swath of parking lot near downtown Austin into what backers hope will transform the way health care is taught and administered in America.
Austin voters approved a measure in 2012 to fund operations of the school and construction began in 2013. Now the clock is ticking down to when classes begin on July 5.
