Following the signing of a five-year partnership agreement with cloud data analytics company #Cloudera, Malaysia's platform services firm Sedania Innovator has distribution rights in Malaysia and access to the Southeast Asian market. Under agreement signed recently, Sedania Innovator has rights to provide Cloudera data analytics services to corporations in Malaysia and South East Asia region. Cloudera was represented by regional director, ASEAN & India, Joseph Lee and Sedania Innovator managing director Datuk Azrin Mohd Noor, who said, "The exponential adoption of advanced technologies by end-users across the South East Asia region has generated enormous amounts of digital data, and simultaneously created huge demand for enterprise solutions to gain insight on consumer behaviour to formulate future strategies." "We certainly recognize the immense potential in this space, and are already actively engaging with prospective customers across the telecommunications, utilities and banking sectors to provide data analytics services. We look forward to a successful rollout together with Cloudera in the near future," he said. Cloudera's Lee said: "Southeast Asia, Malaysia included, presents very exciting prospects for Cloudera. We believe that the data analytics market in this region is poised for a boom, given the rate of the population's embrace of digital frontiers in commerce and various lifestyle-disruption technologies."
