Customers have broader hardware choice for ZeroStack’s software-managed hybrid cloud offerings with Dell amd HPE

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – August 15, 2016 – #ZeroStack, a one-stop shop for infrastructure that combines the self-serve consumption model of public cloud with the security needs of businesses, today announced that it is making its Z-Fabric Cloud Platform software available on hyperconverged hardware from Dell and HP Enterprise ( #HPE ). This move expands options for customers adding cloud capabilities with new #Dell and #HPE installations, to existing #hyperconverged hardware and incenting the Dell and HPE reseller channel to bundle ZeroStack’s software-managed cloud platform. ZeroStack will supply its Cloud Platform software on the FX2 and C6320 from Dell and additional systems from HPE. Customers have much broader hardware choices for ZeroStack’s software-managed hybrid cloud offerings. “ZeroStack’s secret sauce is really its software, so it makes sense for the company to port its software to popular hardware platforms,” said Zeus Kerravala, principal analyst at ZK Research. “With these partnerships, ZeroStack has bagged two of the biggest hardware vendors.” “Customers love our software, but many of them have existing relationships with Dell or HPE as hardware suppliers,” said Deep Bhattacharjee, head of product management at ZeroStack. “This agreement allows us to serve those customers by placing our software in Dell and HPE’s distribution channels.”
