The University of Tennessee has received $5 million in computer equipment, software and storage from #IBM in what officials with both organizations Thursday called an investment that would help both parties. Officials held a dedication ceremony Thursday to kick off the Advanced Analytics Lab, IBM Enabled, which is a joint project of IBM, the UT College of Engineering and the Haslam College of Business. "With this donation, we will be able to develop research applicable to both colleges that will ultimately help businesses such as IBM that rely on the successful development of students in those fields," #UT Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek said in a statement.
