Google, Amazon, and Apple join bidding war for Toshiba’s flash memory unit

A few months ago, #Toshiba decided to put its #NAND flash memory division up for sale to make up for the loss of its US nuclear unit ( #Westinghouse ), which filed for bankruptcy protection. The company already has quite a few bidders including #WesternDigital, South Korean chipmaker #SKHynix, and US chipmaker #Broadcom, among others like #Google #Amazon #Apple
