As cloud-native computing becomes even more important for organizations of all types, #DellEMC is emphasizing its efforts in the hybrid cloud arena, according to Ted Bardasz (pictured, right), senior director of product management, big data solutions, at Dell EMC, #DellTechnologies Inc.’s infrastructure group. “We think about developer-ready infrastructure … to be able to wheel in an environment with someone on-prem to take advantage of a cloud-native platform, we grabbed additional services around that to really give a full, comprehensive experience monitoring and reporting, disaster recovery, availability zones, an object store,” Bardasz said. To do so, #DellEMC partners with #PivotalSoftware Inc. to integrate the Pivotal #CloudFoundry — a cloud-native platform for deploying and operating modern applications — into its products, including #VxRail, #VxRack and #NSX. “We bring all of that together so that for an on-prem customer that’s looking at building cloud-native apps we can get that deployed in just a couple of days and give them a very rich experience,” Bardasz said.
