Wipro reports 6% YoY Q2 profit growth at Rs 2,190 crore

@Wipro Q2 profit rises 6%, beating estimates Wipro on Tuesday reported a 5.5 per cent rise in sequential and 6 per cent rise in year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit at Rs 2,189.50 crore ($349 million) for the September quarter. The company has given guidance of $2,014 million to $2,054 million for December quarter revenue from its IT services business. The company said its IT services segment came in at Rs 2,280 crore ($349 million) in the September quarter, up 4 per cent on a QoQ basis.
