@Dell executives have appointed @Nicole Gibson co-site director of their large @DellNashville campus, where she will join @CarnellElliott in running the business here and overseeing its community outreach work. Gibson (pictured) takes over day-to-day responsibilities previously handled by @EricCoffey, a company vice president and general manager of its U.S. mid-market sales. Coffey is assuming an advisory role as executive site director. “Nikki is a proven leader at Dell and has been a long-time member of our senior leadership team,” Coffey said. “She understands Dell’s core values, goals and the legacy of good we look to leave in our community, making her an excellent choice to step into this role and lead us forward.” Gibson began working at Dell in 1999 and has worked in its facilities, procurement, legal, ethics and human resources team. She now oversees strategy and proactive auditing for all HR functions here and previously was HR site lead in Nashville. Elliott, who has been with Dell since 2007, was named co-site director earlier this year. Separately, Dell leaders also have promoted Heather Schaack to vice president of inside sales excellence, a national role that supports inside sales strategy, planning and managing programmatic and operational efforts across the country. Schaack has worked for Dell in Nashville since 2000 and was most recently senior director of inside sales for its East region. Her promotion makes her the second Dell VP based here. Dell is one of Middle Tennessee’s largest tech employers and houses about 1,500 people at its campus near Nashville International Airport. The company in June said it planned to add about 60 jobs here, a number of them in the small business sales group.
