Rovius Cloud Appliances Accelerate Enterprise Cloud Deployment 

@Accelerite, a provider of software for digital transformation infrastructure, today announced the general availability of a new product suite, @Rovius #Cloud #Appliance, integrating #compute, #storage and #virtualization to deliver a fully-managed enterprise cloud that is ready to consume in minutes. Developed on @DellEMC infrastructure, Rovius Cloud Appliance bridges the gap between on-premises infrastructure and public cloud to support increasingly distributed, elastic and unpredictable workloads. “Customers today are looking for IT solutions that are scalable, automated and secure while optimizing a diverse range of workloads, both traditional and cloud native,” said Ron Pugh, Vice President and General Manager for the Americas, Dell EMC OEM Solutions. “Dell EMC OEM solutions and Accelerite will deliver technology that enables customers to thrive in any IT environment, be it on-premises or the cloud.” Rovius Cloud Appliances give enterprises a head-start in the cloud, with pre-configured, certified hardware that eliminates compatibility issues. The Rovius Starter Appliance delivers a cloud with three compute servers in a 2U compact form-factor which can be integrated with users’ enterprise storage of choice. The Rovius Cloud Appliance suite features a high-performance control plane with customizable compute and storage, enabling users to start small and scale out as needs increase. Streamlined global support ensures ongoing user satisfaction. The new platforms are also ideal for development and delivery of enterprise cloud managed services. The Rovius Cloud Appliance suite includes: Rovius Compute Node, with four powerful servers to provide compute infrastructure for running up to 150 virtual machines Rovius Controller, each supporting up to 500 Rovius Compute Nodes Rovius Storage Nodes, with software-defined storage ranging from 12TB to 144TB Rovius Cloud automatically federates on-premises applications and data with public clouds including AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure, reducing time-to-value from weeks to hours and lowering costs by up to 50 percent. The Rovius Appliance-based hybrid cloud can be managed by a cloud based Rovius Ops Manager that provides resource discovery, integrated deep infrastructure monitoring, log analytics, performance monitoring and capacity planning.
