With the launch of the combined #DellEMC partner programme little more than two weeks away, the vendor giant has picked #Computacenter, #Bechtle, and #Atea as its first top-level #TitaniumBlack partners in EMEA, Channelnomics Europe understands. The first joint channel scheme since Dell closed its $67bn buyout of #EMC four months ago is due to launch on 4 February. The new-look framework features four tiers: entry-level Gold; followed by Platinum; Titanium; and Titanium Black - which is accessible by invitation only. As reported earlier this month by our sister publication CRN UK, US-based channel heavyweights #CDW and #WorldWideTechnology emerged as the first companies to be invited onto the top level of the new scheme, with rival Insight following shortly afterwards. Mike Norris, CEO of Computacenter, revealed last week that his company would also be joining Dell EMC's exclusive channel enclave. The UK-headquartered VAR and services player is one of three EMEA channel firms to have been invited to join the Titanium Black club; Norwegian infrastructure titan Atea, and German reseller Bechtle have also been awarded the status.
