Dell EMC exclusivity perks a conflict for SMB, midmarket partners - analyst

#DellEMC 's #partnerprogram offering rewards for Dell-only partners is presenting conflicts for its channel partners focused on SMBs and the midmarket, Anurag Agrawal, CEO and analyst at Techaisle, wrote in a blog post Sunday. In the post, which analyzes the pros and cons the program seems to hold for these channel partners, Agrawal points to the fact that the program offers free training and, therefore, the potential for free certifications, to its Dell-only partners in North America and Latin America. The analyst said that while Dell and EMC each had exclusive partners before they merged, offering free training to partners is "not (at all) the norm in the channel".
