Sumir Bhatia has joined #Lenovo as the company’s new vice-president of DataCentre Group (DCG) for Asia-Pacific.
Based out of Singapore, Bhatia will take over responsibilities of Amar Babu, who is Lenovo chief operating officer and ASEAN general manager.
In his new role, Bhatia will drive the growth of Lenovo’s datacentre business across Asia-Pacific and lead sales, product and go-to-market execution.
Bhatia brings more than six years of experience working in Asia-Pacific leadership roles. Most recently, he was at Dell where he built his track record in this region across multiple roles including global channel program director, general manager of enterprise solutions and executive director of commercial channels.
Lenovo senior vice-president and president of Asia-Pacific, Ken Wong, said, “Sumir comes to us with a proven track record and a wealth of industry experience across the region.”
