Palo Alto, Calif.-based #VMware Inc. (VMW) today announced it has joined the #OPENOProject, an open source project hosted by the #LinuxFoundation. OPEN-O, focused on software-defined networking ( #SDN ) and network functions virtualization ( #NFV ) infrastructure enablement, is part of a larger initiative representing a global, tech industrywide effort to advance agile networking operations.
