#DELLTechnologies Inc. recently announced the expansion of its converged systems portfolio by integrating technologies with #EMC Corp., which it bought two years ago, and subsidiary #VMWare Inc. The launch of the solution in the local market reflects the leveraging of the merger between two technology behemoths and its integration with VMware Inc. The merger and integration has allowed customers to partner with a single vendor for end-to-end hyper-converged infrastructure ( #HCI ) with comprehensive service and support offerings that provide a path to assisting business growth and investment protection to modernize their data center, according to Dell Technologies. “Owning both the compute and storage portions of the hyper-converged stack is a game-changer for the HCI portfolio,” Terri McClure, Dell’s Enterprise Strategy Group senior analyst, was quoted in the statement as saying.
