Many companies today are going through “ #containerinitiatives ” as they try to figure out if they should take their legacy applications and put them into such virtualized environments or if they should limit container storage to new developments, according to Chad Thibodeau (pictured), principal product manager at #Veritas Technologies LLC. In addition, as they are contemplating how to get data protection for a container with guaranteed performance, they also are seeking a storage provider they can trust. Because it is their critical data, at the end of the day they want it to be easily accessible as well as safely guarded, Thibodeau added.
