Principled Technologies Releases Study on the VDI Capabilities of Dell EMC PowerEdge FX2s Enclosures with Dell EMC XtremIO Storage

#VDI deployments need strong hardware to deliver an optimal experience for end users. PT deployed 6,000 virtual desktops on #DellEMC #PowerEdge #FX2s enclosures with PowerEdge FC630 server modules and Dell EMC #XtremIO storage and found that the solution could get users to desktops quickly, even in boot storms, and save time for admins during desktop recomposition—all inside of a single datacenter rack. The solution also offered the flexibility to host either linked or full clones while keeping a small data footprint. According to the report, the Dell EMC XtremIO solution is “a robust VDI platform that can support a large number of virtual desktops while taking up little datacenter space, which can help keep ongoing datacenter expenses low.” To learn more about how Dell EMC PowerEdge FX2s enclosures with XtremIO storage works for large VDI deployments, read the full report at facts.pt/Wn4a83, see the summary at facts.pt/RbQR5w, see the infographic at facts.pt/Xm8Rea, and watch the video at facts.pt/6QLA9x.
