Sydney-based managed service provider, The #MissingLink, has chosen #Nimble Storage technology to enhance and expand its Cloud platform. The company has been offering Cloud services for more than four years and offers backup, Infrastructure-as-a-service and disaster recovery-as-a-service. The Missing Link had previously been using #NetApp technology to underpin its Cloud infrastructure, but the system had reached end of life and was suffering performance issues which impacted customer satisfaction, backup and reporting capabilities. The Missing Link operations director, Daniel Forsythe, told ARN the company embarked on an "extensive tender process" which included bids from #EMC, NetApp and Nimble Storage. “We conducted an assessment on all of the technologies against a set of criteria we had predetermined,” he explained.
