, Sweden, June 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- #Netrounds, the leading provider of active, programmable test and service monitoring solutions for Communications Service Providers (CSPs), today announced that its automated service activation testing and active monitoring solution, Netrounds, has successfully achieved #Cisco compatibility certification with Cisco Unified Computing System ( #UCS ) servers.
Netrounds, which is also compatibility certified and integrated with Cisco Network Services Orchestrator ( #NSO ) to accelerate deployment of automated network assurance, has now validated its Netrounds Virtual Test Agents (vTAs) on Cisco UCS to further increase the ease of deployment for CSPs. Netrounds' out-of-the-box multi-domain and multi-layer active testing and monitoring capabilities can be deployed throughout physical, hybrid and virtual networks to ensure that provisioned services are delivered correctly the first time and continue to work throughout their lifetime. Netrounds Test Agents can also use standards-based reflection to further extend real-time, end-to-end service quality visibility and verification. "Minimizing costs for specialized test and monitoring systems, as well as minimizing manual and field testing efforts are some of the key benefits of deploying a software-only active test and monitoring solution," said Anders Bergsten, VP of product management at Netrounds. "Certifying Netrounds vTAs on Cisco UCS provides our customers with a validated, common-off-the-shelf hardware option for deploying Cisco NSO and the automated Orchestrated Assurance solution with ease." "We are helping enable our CSP customers to deliver innovative new services with the agility and assured performance that end customers expect in the era of cloud computing," said Charles Stucki, vice president and general manager of Network Function Virtualization (NFV) Business Unit, Cisco. "Netrounds-powered validation of services orchestrated by NSO allows our customers to deploy and innovate quickly with excellent visibility."
