AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- @Pivot3, the technology leader in #hyperconverged infrastructure ( #HCI ) solutions for the #softwaredefineddatacenter, today announced a distribution agreement with @ArrowElectronics. Arrow brings a vast reseller community and will provide additional go-to-market capacity for Pivot3’s aggressive growth and expansion in the HCI market, while equipping its provider ecosystem with solutions to support a broader range of use cases, including data center modernization, end-user computing, big data and analytics, enterprise, database and mission-critical streaming media applications. In addition, Arrow will provide configuration services for Pivot3’s platform on Lenovo servers. Pivot3’s Acuity HCI platform is the only HCI solution to combine a policy-based QoS engine with a non-volatile memory express (NVMe) flash data path, making it ideal for consolidating mixed-application workloads onto a common infrastructure. Recent tests showed that it provides six times the performance, three times the virtual machine density and 25 percent less hardware compared to other HCI solutions*. “Arrow is a premier global distributor with significant experience supporting game-changing technologies like hyperconvergence,” said Mark Maisano, VP of channel sales, Pivot3. “As demand for our Acuity HCI platform grows, Arrow’s breadth, depth and expertise will be a tremendous resource for positioning our solutions through the channel. We’re eager to collaborate and work side by side with Arrow in supporting HCI adoption throughout the U.S. market.”
