This week, #QuestSoftware, which spun out of #Dell as part of the merger with #EMC, announced at a Gartner Identity & Access Management Summit conference a #OneIdentity Connect for Cloud offering that leverages the #DellBoomi cloud integration service and an open System for Cross-domain Identity Management ( #SCIM ) interface to make it significantly simpler to implement identity management. Jackson Shaw, senior director for product management for One Identity at Quest Software, says rather than having to implement policies at the client level, each endpoint can now make use of Dell Boomi to access an instance of One Identity Manager software from Quest Software. “It’s a lot simpler for IT departments to make a single connection to the cloud,” says Shaw.
